This score is an weighted aggregate of the ratings from profitability, rent, COGS, payroll and other expenses and should be a good indication of the overall business health.
A good rule of thumb is that profit should be greater than 25% of the initial investment.
How much room you have for other expenses e.g. electricity will depend on how much you are spending on expenses like payroll & rent.
Rent should ideally be less than 10% of gross sales.
Ideally, payroll should be less than 30% of gross sales.
COGS differ depending on the industry. For example, COGS for a restaurant should be less than 30% of gross sales.
